And the scenarios are top notch - I haven't had this much fun with a theme park sim's scenarios since RCT1. I especially love how it actually rewards beautification-based design and scenery with its mechanics - something that always bothered me about RCT2's functional-yet-meaningless building mechanics. The number of permutations of pieces and sizes to work with is amazing here's a Mack water coaster I'm somewhat proud of along with a GCI-esque mine train. The game looks completely different from its early beta days when I last played - coasters are much more fluid to design and they look significantly smoother now, to the point where zero-G rolls look graceful as hell (a million times better than anything RCT3 had to offer). There are little UX niggles and blemishes in the polish that bothered me immensely initially, but once I got to the real meat of the game, I've been completely absorbed. Been playing a lot of Parkitect this week, and I'm 90% loving it.
